Postpartum Haemorrhage is one of the major causes of maternal death in Cameroon and so we are intentional about curbing the maternal death rate as a result of this ill, because Indeed no woman deserves to die while bringing life.
On Thursday, the 6th of July 2023 The For Mom and Baby Foundation Donated a good amount Misoprostol tablets to eight health facilities in the Buea Health District which is located in the South West Region of Cameroon. These donations follow after the training on the appropriate use of Misoprostol in the prevention of postpartum haemorrhage which we held the previous day with the Midwives from these facilities present.
Our team was well recieved by the various hospital administrators as different team members were assigned to each hospitals to follow up on the use of these medications and report monthly in collaboration with the heath personels.
